This Rare Hereditary Disorder Turned This Brazilian Community Into A Ghost Town

This town is not inhabited by any ghost but still it is a ghost down. A rare genetic disorder is responsible for this. This genetic disorder is known as Xeroderma Pigmentosum (XP). Due to this genetic disorder inhabitant of Araras town in Sao Paulo, Brazil are very sensitive to UV rays. The town people always wear layer of clothes to protect themselves from UV rays. Many people here also have to wear plastic or plaster mask to protect their remaining face from further damage. About 30% individual with XP disorder also develops hearing loss.
