Doctors Successfully Reattach Toddler’s Decapitated Head

Today we are sharing an amazing story of Jaxon Taylor. He is 16-month old and miraculously recovered from a serious car accident.

On September 15, he was travelling with his family when their vehicle collides with another vehicle coming from front, on Newell Highway in New South Wales.

As a result of intense force due to this collision, Jaxon’s head pulled apart from his head. He was operated by Dr. Geoff Askin a spinal surgeon. Dr. Askin and his team performed a 6 hour long operation to put back his head by attaching a halo device to his skull.

Dr. Askin explained: “A lot of children wouldn’t survive that injury in the first place, and if they did and they were resuscitated then they may never move or breathe again.”

Andrew Taylor, the father of the injured kids, told 7NewsMelbourne: “They have taken two broken kids and put them back together. We’re very, very thankful.”

Jaxon is more likely to be recovered completely and live normal life.
